Ashley Miller is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals. His specialist interests are fluid management, haemodynamics and ultrasound. He is an elected UK Intensive Care Society (ICS) council member and co-chairs the ICS Focused Ultrasound in Intensive Care (FUSIC) committee where he has led on introducing a modular curriculum and accreditation pathway for multi-organ Intensive Care ultrasound. He has been a British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) committee member and examiner and has co-authored national guidelines which include assessing fluid responsiveness with echocardiography and assessing haemodynamics with ultrasound.
