Dr Onwochei is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Her subspecialty interests include regional anaesthesia and airway management, as well as obstetric anaesthesia, for which she undertook a fellowship in Toronto, Canada. Dr Onwochei has completed extensive research in these areas, securing a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has taught in all three of these areas at numerous courses at the local, national and international levels. Dr Onwochei currently runs the advanced airway fellowship at Guy’s Hospital and helps to organise teaching and training sessions in obstetric and airway anaesthesia.
