Dr Turbitt is a Consultant Anaesthetist in Belfast, and was the lead organiser of RAUK 2019. He completed a Regional Anaesthesia Fellowship in Toronto and the MSc in Regional Anaesthesia. He is a board member of RA-U.K, and is a founding member of the ASRA Specialist Interest Group for Education in Regional Anaesthesia. He has been an invited lecturer at several national and international conferences and has published several regional anaesthesia studies. Current interests include the implementation of widespread education in basic regional anaesthesia skills and the impact of regional anaesthesia on value of care.
