RA-UK 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting Speaker Spotlight - Dr Nat Haslam

Nat is a consultant anaesthetist at South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation trust, has been a board member of RA-UK for 5 years and served as RA-UK Honorary Secretary for RA-UK for the last 3.
He is clinical lead for regional anaesthesia in Sunderland, introduced one of the first block room model of working in the UK and regularly hosts visits from interested teams from across the country.
He is co-lead for the University of East Anglia MSc in Regional Anaesthesia, regularly directing and contributing to national and international RA-UK ultrasound workshops. He has been an invited speaker for both the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Association of Anaesthetists (UK and Ireland) and has lectured as far afield as Poland, Egypt and Dubai.
He is currently sitting on the SALG working party producing an SOP, incorporating SBYB, for administration of regional anaesthesia.
