Nat is a consultant anaesthetist at South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation trust, has been a board member of RA-UK for 7 years and served as Honorary Secretary for the last 5.
He is clinical lead for regional anaesthesia in Sunderland, introduced one of the first block rooms in the UK, regularly hosting visits from interested teams from across the country.
He is co-lead for the University of East Anglia MSc in Regional Anaesthesia, is an invited speaker for both the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Association of Anaesthetists and has lectured as far afield as Poland, Egypt and Dubai.
He is a member of the SALG working party and led, on RA-UK’s behalf, the development of the recent Prep, Stop, Block initiative.
