Andy is Consultant Anaesthetist at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Professor of Anaesthesia and Peri-operative Medicine at the University of Lancaster. He is also Director of the Lancaster Patient Safety Research Unit at the Trust. He has been the Co-ordinating Editor of the Cochrane Anaesthesia Review Group since 2018, having been an Editor in the group for many years.
