Dr Nav Bahal is a Consultant Anaesthetist and the Lead for Inpatient Pain Medicine in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and the Courses/Social Media Lead for Regional Anaesthesia UK, joining the Board in 2023. He underwent his anaesthetic training in London and Oxford before becoming a Consultant in 2013. His main interests are in EDI in healthcare, pain medicine and regional anaesthesia, for which he has delivered lectures for Regional Anaesthesia UK, the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the Association of Anaesthetists and for centres in Belgium, Czechia and the Philippines. He is also the Course Director for BucksUSGRA which runs regional anaesthesia courses for anaesthetists in the UK and abroad. His Pain Team were successful in winning a HSJ Patient Safety Award in 2023 for their innovative response to rib fractures in their organisation.
