We expect that most delegates will prefer to attend all of the ‘How I do it’ sessions, however we will also run some clinically focussed workshops in parallel to the symposia for those delegates who wish to freshen up their scanning skills for a particular clinical subset of nerve blocks.  There will also be workshops targeted at the infrequent blocker or ultrasound novice, which focus on 6 nerve blocks that cover almost everything. For the afternoon workshop sessions, delegates can choose only 1 of the 4 sessions.

• Nerve blocks for shoulder surgery

• Nerve blocks for awake hand, wrist, forearm

• Nerve blocks for abdominal surgery

• Nerve blocks for hip fracture surgery

• Nerve blocks for chest wall (breast/ribs)

• Spinal and paraspinal sonoanatomy

• Nerve blocks for awake foot and ankle surgery

• Nerve blocks for total knee arthroplasty

• Introduction to lung POCUS

• Introduction to gastric POCUS

• Regional anaesthesia for obstetric anaesthesia

Workshop sessions will run parallel to the expert clinical symposia, and delegates can choose which workshop session(s) they wish to attend (up to a maximum of 2). Please consult both the workshop and symposia timetables to avoid missing your preferred symposia.
