Conferences are great for networking, learning and gaining hands on experience, but they’re not great for getting fresh air or exercise!
The most exercise many of us get at a conference is walking to find the cookies at the coffee break. So, we are organising an informal City run on Tuesday 19th May, starting and finishing at the City Hall (Conference venue) which will be an opportunity for you to stretch your legs and see some of our wonderful city.
Meet at 06:25am on the steps of City Hall. We will be leaving at 06:30am prompt.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Should you wish to do your own run during your visit to Sheffield, please visit: theoutdoorcity.co.ukfor suggested routes. Perhaps pop it on twitter using the hashtag #RAUK20 if you’d like some company.
If you are a keen runner why not make a weekend of it and come to Sheffield early for the Eyam Half Marathon that is taking place at 10.30 am on Sunday 17th May 2020.
The first Eyam Half Marathon was held in 1993 and became a firm favourite on the road racing calendar before road subsidence meant an enforced three-year absence. But the ‘Rat Race’ is back for 2020! It's a tough hilly course, but offers some stunning views of the Peak District.
